Gypsy May's Story...
Gypsy is a sweet female terrier mix approximately 35-40 lbs. She is having a great time in her foster home as her previous life was pretty rough. She currently weighs 33 lbs but needs to gain enough and we estimate her at a medium 40 lb size. She is a quiet but not shy dog. She loves everybody (adults and kids and dogs) and loves being petted. She loves to play ball and will bring the ball back to you so you can throw it again. Her foster mom is working on manners and house breaking and both are coming along well. She is easily motivated both by toys and treats and has quickly learned to sit on command. She would be great in just about any home that wants a young, fun, friendly and playful dog. She is being fostered in Huntsville, AL but is available for adoption to your area.To adopt her emailinfo@forrescue.net.
** We are currently unable to adopt to MA residents due to state regulations. **

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsy May, a Hamburg Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
