Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tessa is a 2 year old sweetheart that found herself out on the streets only to be picked up and taken to a shelter. When her owners did not come to claim her she found her way to us. She is a very special girl with her calm disposition being very mild mannered and not wanting to do anything wrong. Tessa is extremely cautious meeting new people and would probably be more comfortable just staying in her home that does not have a lot of noise and activity going on, so no children please. She is great with dogs and would love another furry brother to play with. She has been living with a cat and will still need a little help and training to be totally fine with them. Tessa loves to carry around her toys, enjoys running after balls and is learning how to bring them back to you. We would like to see her with a patient person who can help Tessa grow to become a confident little girl. Tessa is so loving and wants to make her family proud of her but needs some encouragement to do this. If you are the right person for her we would suggest working with a trainer from the start to get off on the right foot with building her confidence around strangers. If you are that person who would love to have this sweetheart be part of your life she would give you so much love and devotion in return. Tessa has good house manners, listens well, is crate trained and food motivated so teaching her will be easy.
