Peaches's Story...
Peaches is an absolutely beautiful 4-5 years old, in the Newport News, VA area. She is one of the largest females. She's loves children although she is 155 lbs and should go to a home with older kids due to her size. She is a sweet loving dog who has been moved around way too much. She should be the only pet. She is funny and very smart and needs a home where she will be part of and treated with kindness and play. She has basic commands and we are told by her fosters she has perfect manners. Her previous owners surrendered her due to no fault of her own they simply no longer had the time to give her the attention they felt she deserves. If you are interested in Peaches please contact Dawn 610-787-2353.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Newtown Square St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Newtown Square, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Newtown Square.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newtown Square already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newtown Square breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newtown Square paves the way for another one to be saved.
