Jackson's Story...
Jackson is a cute little beagle/hound mix from North Carolina. He's 8 months old and weighs about 25 lbs. Jackson is being vetted in North Carolina and is waiting to come up. Our volunteer who visited him there said " Jackson is a great little doggie and our 9 yr old boy walked him with no problem. He justs wants to be held and petted; he has loads of personality and love to share." We expect Jackson to arrive around Feb 14th.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Lexington Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Lexington, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Lexington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lexington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lexington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lexington paves the way for another one to be saved.
