My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ducky!
Ducky is an approximately 4-year-old Border Terrier, Jack Russell, schnauzer and who-knows-what-else mix! He is 17 lbs. and could stand to gain a few more.

The adorable guy has just enough spunk for someone who likes to go for walks and have play time but he isn't too high-energy. He is in foster care with five other dogs and a cat, and is great with them. He does perfectly fine with cats; in fact, he even avoids them. His foster siblings range from 30 lbs. to 55 lbs. and he's met bigger and smaller dogs as well. He is almost 100 percent potty trained with just a few accidents here and there. If you are looking for a sweet, goofy guy, then Ducky is your man!

Ducky’s adoption fee is $200 and he’s located in Mukwonago, WI. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
