My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a two year old beagle that was originally came from a hunting pack in Texas. She loves being outside exploring and taking walks with her people. At night, she loves to curl up on the couch to have her belly rubbed and sleep. She responds well to treats and even knows the commands "sit", "lay down", and "roll over".
She is extremely friendly to any person she meets and loves playing with children and other dogs. Although she sometimes get over excited and begins playing rough, a short time out calms her down. Lucy does not like cats and other small, furry creatures she can chase (squirrels, rabbits, etc).
She's up to date on all her vaccinations and is in great health. Unfortunately, a recent move to Tennessee and some work changes means this sweet puppy is forced to stay couped up and alone all day and is not enjoying her new environment. She would do great as a family dog to a family with a big fenced yard where she can run. She enjoys being with her family and should be allowed to come inside and be a lap dog after a long day of playing outside.
