Meet Momma "Tasha" and Pup "Tilly" - Need Foster or Adopter ASAP!
Sweet Tasha is a young tan and white terrier/lab mix that weighs about 35lbs. She and her young pup "Tilly" recently were at a high kill shelter.
A shelter environment is definitely no place for a Momma and her young baby, where they can easily become ill and there is not adequate staffing to care for them.
When we received the plea looking for help to save these darlings, we stepped up to get them out to safety. Now they are with a temporary foster but need a longer foster, until they are ready to be adopted. We are accepting applications for both Tasha and pup Tilly, who is almost ready to leave her Momma to find a home of her own.
Tilly is about 10 weeks old now, healthy, and has started on solid foods. Tasha is a lovely dog that has been a good mother to her baby, but soon will be ready to find a home of her own. She will be a great addition to a family.
We want to keep the two together for another few weeks until Tilly is really ready to leave her Momma and after both are ready to be spayed. (Both dogs will be spayed prior to adoption finalization.)
