My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sawyer was in training for two months with K9's for Warriors but his hips were not good enough to continue with the program to be a service dog but what an amazing family pet he will be!! He does take some medication which will keep him pain free for years to and walks TWO MILES A DAY with his foster and her dog. This lovable, handsome and happy boy is so eager to find his forever family who will give him all the love, care and happiness he so needs. We believe Sawyer to be about 1 1/2 yrs. old and is ready for immediate adoption. He is good in the house, housetrained, rides well in a car and has had some excellent training. Sawyer is a fun loving boy who enjoys other dogs and even tolerates cats, loves being with his people so having someone home most of the time will work best for him and belly rubs are one of his favorite activities along with catching a tennis ball. He should have a 6 ft. fence or electric fence to keep this sociable boy from visiting the neighbors and another large dog will be a plus. Sawyer is heartworm negative, neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, knows many commands and ready for immediate adoption.
