Andromeda's Story...
I guess you could say that I cut it close on 10/04/2014. That's the day another rescue brought me to Kitty Save and I became a Kitty Save kitty. That night, I had my babies! Whew! I spent the next couple of months raising my little family in quiet and safety. All of us are now ready for adoption.

Kitty Save named me Andromeda because I have stunning little white hairs throughout my sleek black coat, and they look like stars. I have a very even temperament and enjoy company. When my foster mom would visit me several times a day, I was so glad to talk to her. It's great talking and being friendly!

I'd do well in a home with young children. I'm very patient, but some quiet time would be great too. I'm looking forward to moving on and joining my very own family very soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andromeda, a The Colony Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in The Colony, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in The Colony.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in The Colony already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a The Colony breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in The Colony paves the way for another one to be saved.
