Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome guy is Banjo! He was found as a stray with his brother in Kansas and brought to a high kill shelter. A few days after, their guardians came to pick them up! His hopes were high as he was reunited with his family. Unfortunately for Banjo, they decided that they only had room for 1 dog and they brought Banjo back to the dismal shelter. It was then that we were notified about his situation and were asked to help. After hearing his story we stepped up and transported Banjo to Colorado!
He has been loving life here and is doing very well in his foster home. Banjo is totally house trained and is only vocal when he needs to go out. He can be trusted alone without a crate and shows no destructive behavior. He is good with other dogs & even cats! Banjo can be trusted with children and is good with adults too. He does seem to attach to women more than men right off the bat. He warms up to men with patience and reassurance. Banjo gets very excited to go on walks and he is great on a leash. He can't wait to hit the trails Colorado has to offer! Banjo, true to his breed, is a very smart guy. He is very responsive and knows basic commands.
We think Banjo is a Shiba Inu/Siberian Husky mix because he is pretty small, weighing in at ~50lbs. He is estimated to be about 1 1/2 years old.
Banjo is being fostered in Denver and is available for meet n greets!
