Yoda's Story...
Please meet Yoda. We first met Yoda at Memphis animal services. He was confiscated and his former owners were charged with animal cruelty due to the puppies poor condition. They were not feeding him, and this poor boy was starving. He was so skinny, in fact, that when we went to adopt him, the vets at the shelter said he was not medically stable enough to be neutered.

Well fast-forward one month, and take a look at this handsome healthy boy you see. His foster mom reports that he is the perfect dog. He's good with her children and other dogs, and as a matter fact she says her own dogs will be running around like crazy and he sits back quietly observing and going to her for love and attention. Yoda is one chill puppy. Turns out all he really needed to be this healthy dog, was love and groceries.

Yoda's adoption fee is $425 and will include his neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and transportation from Memphis to you. If you're interested in adopting please email wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com and ask for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yoda, a Rochester Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
