My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Becky was pulled from an Open Admissions County Shelter with her daughter, Clara. She weighs about 10 pounds. She is petite and quiet. We don't know why these sweet girls were surrendered but they were very scared until our young volunteer, Tia, started snuggling with them. If you would like to adopt this little sweetie here's the information you will need:

EARS is committed to placing all our dogs in quality forever homes. We require an adoption application/contract and a home visit, (or if you live outside our local area a recommendation from your vet), before we will release an animal. Healthy dogs and puppy adoption fees are $350.00. An adoption form can be downloaded from our website www.EARSAnimalRescue.com.

All dogs are examined by our vet when rescued, they are brought up to date on vaccinations and all preventive medications such as Heartworm and flea meds. All medical issues are dealt with and dogs are micro-chipped. Animals are spayed or neutered, (in the case of a puppy we will arrange for this when they reach the correct age). All our dogs are fostered out to our wonderful volunteers.

Our animal adoption fees and donations are our sole source of support. We are a no-kill, no cage sanctuary and support many animals that will never be adopted due to health, age or behavioral issues. When you adopt an animal from EARS you are not just saving your new pet's life, you are saving the life of the next dog we can place in a foster home as well.

You can download the PDF adoption application from our website EARSAnimalRescue.com under the More tab. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop for your next companion.

Cheers From EARS!
