Charlie2 is a male white-and-orange cat, born in January, 2011 and weighs 8lbs, 3ozs. He is responsive, gentle and affectionate. Charlie2 likes to be petted, but not picked up. He gets along well with people and other cats. He is definitely an indoor/outdoor cat and will need a place where he will be safe outdoors. Charlie2 has been neutered and is up-to-date on his shots. The adoption fee is $15. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: http://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/CatAdoptionApplication.html. We are located in Western North Carolina. Optional transport is weekly.  After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.

About Rutherford County Humane Society - ME

About Our Rescue Group...

Rutherford County Humane Society is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that has been serving Rutherford County since 1979, with the mission to significantly improve the lives of unwanted and neglected animals, and to measurably decrease this number through our spay and neuter programs, volunteer foster homes, and outreach and education. We are an independent organization that works in collaboration with other area animal advocacy groups. All of our efforts depend on our passionately compassionate volunteers, and financial support from the community. We have made the decision to use our resources to continue promoting the number one solution to our pet overpopulation problem - and that is spay/neuter. We are available to you at our phone number - 828-286-0222. Our mailing address is still PO Box 998, Rutherfordton, NC 28139. Our website (http://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org) is always current, and you can contact us through the web. You will receive a prompt reply. We have adoptable pets posted on the site.
