Leopold is a male Poodle mix approximately 2 years in age. He has a gorgeous, velvety soft black coat of curls that are non-shedding and hypoallergenic. Leopold has been professionally groomed and currently has a shorter haircut. He is a nice, manageable size weighing in at 14 pounds full grown. Leopold is a people dog and enjoys being included inside the home where his family is. He has great manners inside and is housebroken. He is good with other dogs but is definitely more of a people dog. He would do fine in a home on his own since he is confident without another dog around. He is excellent with children, very gentle and loving. He will play very gently with a soft toy, but is mostly interested in lots of pats, strokes on the head, and lap snuggling. He is responsive to voice commands and is very eager to please his people. He walks easily on leash without pulling and rides well in the car. Leopold was brought in to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter with a dislocated back leg. He has since had leg surgically repaired and should be brand new in no time. Leopold is an easy keeper and will make a wonderful pet and companion. He is ready for his new forever home today!
Leopold’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Leopold is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Vicki and is ready for his forever home.
