My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Big Matthew. 2 yo Black Smoke and White, mitted Maine Coon
Big Matthew was one big mat when he got to the shelter so he's been
completely shaved, except for his beautiful long tail. He's going to be
quite the looker once that coat grows in. Right now he looks a bit
goofy, but we're not holding that against him.
Matt is a really nice cat. He spent quite a bit of time in a rural
animal shelter. He was available for adoption, but he hates dogs. In his
horse country setting, every body has a dog. So, there he sat, waiting
and waiting to find a new home. Luckily we were making the long trek to
pick up another cat and when we heard about Matthew's plight, we happily
told our transporter to go ahead and throw him on the life raft, too.
Matthew is a giant personality, with a giant heart. We're so glad he
came to us. Even as big as he is, he enjoys being held. He's curious and
explorative. So far it looks as if he'll be OK with other cats.
