My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adorable little Lexi, a lightweight at 11 1/2 lbs, appears to be a Havanese mix. In her shelter cage, she looked to be a dingy grey color. After a bath in her foster home she emerged with a sparkly white and tan coat. She is about a year old.

Lexi is a sweet, affectionate dog, a little shy but warms up quickly. She should be fine with men, women and gentle children. She gets long with the other foster dogs in the home and would probably play with them if they were so inclined. Since they are not, she is content to amuse herself with her squeaky toys.

After just a couple of accidents, Lexi is house trained using a doggie door and she is becoming crate trained as well. Other than a daily brushing, Lexi is low maintenance and undemanding. Easygoing neighborhood walks, some time to play, and a lot of love would suit her fine. People have said she looks sort of sad - that's because she hasn't met you yet!
