I am a 7-year-old neutered male Corgi/Dachshund mix. I weigh about 30 pounds.
If you are looking for an adorable, mature, easygoing fella then you’ll definitely want to meet me. I’m a really sweet guy that would love to hang out with you on the couch while you watch TV. I’ll even let you choose the channel as long as you give me an occasional belly rub.
Since I’m kind of an older pup I won’t need a ton of exercise. I would probably enjoy a couple of walks around the block throughout the day and maybe a game of fetch here and there. Pretty simple, right?
I’ll tell you how I ended up in need of a forever home. The day after Christmas I was found wandering the streets of LA. Animal Control picked me up and brought me to a local high-kill shelter. I wasn’t micro-chipped or neutered, but for some reason the shelter staff thought that it was possible that I had an owner.
I was put into a cage and there I sat…waiting. I waited a month for a family that never came! Then, one day, I was told that I would be leaving the shelter forever. I didn’t know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. I was so scared and nervous. But, all my fears went away when I realized that I had been brought to CageFree.
My friends have promised that they will find me an amazing home with a family that will love and cherish me forever. I can’t tell you how happy that makes me feel. It’s all I’ve ever wanted! I think I deserve it, don’t you?
In case you are wondering, I love everybody I meet – dogs and people alike! I make friends with everybody so you won’t have to worry about introducing me to all the dogs and people you know.
