Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Hachi and I am a 2-year-old Akita looking for a loving family to live with. For my first 1-1/2 years I lived with my breeder and spent 24/7 with him. I was sold to a family who left me alone for long periods of time locked in a basement. This was a huge change for me and I did not do well with this. Consequently the family mistreated me. I was rescued by a friend of this family and have been in a new home for 2 months while they try to find me a good place to live. I was not crate trained so being in a crate causes me anxiety, however if you allow me to live in your house with you as a family member I am very cool, calm, and collected. I love to lay and relax in the living room with you or in your bedroom. I am all up-to-date with my medical needs including being neutered. I currently weigh 85lbs and I am fully housebroken. I am hoping to be with a family who doesn't leave me alone for long periods. If this sounds like your family, I would love for you to talk with the family that is currently fostering me! Love, Hachi
