Lilly's Story...
Lilly is a wonderfully affectionate big girl. She is spayed, about 9 years old and has had vaccinations up to last year. Lil loves to be in your lap, loves to be brushed and fussed over and loves lounging in her cat hammock. A very sweet girl who really needs a forever home to live out the last leg of her life. A huge question is " WHY IS LILLY STILL IN THE RESCUE??" She is so sweet, so beautiful and so friendly it is such a waste to have such a wonderful animal with no loving owner of her own.
There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is always much appreciated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Quincy Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Quincy, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Quincy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quincy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quincy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quincy paves the way for another one to be saved.
