Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rico is what you might call a "one person dog." When he first arrived at the shelter, Rico was practically scared of his own shadow. He just couldn't cope with all the commotion, new people, and other animals. Because of his issues with trust, we ultimately decided the best solution for Rico was to place him in foster care... that way he can begin to see what a dog's life should really be. Now, Rico improves every day. He absolutely loves lap time and is beginning to show his foster family his true sweetness. Better still, Rico is learning all the proper indoor manners. There's no doubt that Rico will take lots of time adjusting to a new home, but his unique personality also ensures that he will bond very, very closely with that one special person who is willing to have patience with him.
