Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the magnificent Mikey, a 1 year old pharaoh hound/pit mix that would be thrilled if you gave him a great home. Mikey came to us from a New York shelter where he was brought in as a stray. Since Mikey had a severe eye injury, he didn't have much of a chance of getting adopted there, so he came to us at Popcorn Park for a new beginning. We don't know how Mikey injured his eye, but he suffered a ruptured cornea and lost his vision in that eye. With time and good medical care, the cornea has healed and Mikey is doing just fabulous now. He is well adjusted and gets around perfectly fine, and has no restrictions and can live a happy, healthy, normal life. Mikey is an absolute doll that just adores people of all ages. He is extremely well behaved and prances like a gentleman on a leash, and is housebroken too. He is playful and lovable, and would love a home with a nice yard to have fun in. Mikey is quite puppyish around other dogs but will need a home with an easy going, well behaved dog that will show him the ropes. This sweet little lovebug is eager to start life over in a safe, loving home, with a family that will cherish him always. File#24333 1/26/15
