This happy-go-lucky boy is Rodney, a 1 year old pit mix that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a wonderful new family. Rodney was picked up as a stray many months ago, and quickly became a favorite of staff and volunteers. His warm and bubbly personality is sure to brighten anyone's day, but after waiting several months with no one offering to adopt Rodney, he hopped into the van and headed south to us, for a change of scenery. Rodney is an everyone's-friend type of dog and we're happy to have this sweetheart. He is so outgoing and just loves making new friends. Rodney is well behaved too. If you ask him to sit, he will first leap into the air and do a little spin, just to show you that he can, then he'll sit right down for you. He is gentle with taking treats too. Rodney is strong but walks well on a leash with a harness. He has loads of energy and would love a home with a nice yard to run and play in.
