Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daisy Mae is quite the character, charming everyone by sitting on their feet, turning to look up into their eyes as if to say "I'm here, you're my favorite, and I LOVE you! Daisy is pure delight as life shines through her eyes and spreads across her face with her happy smile as she greets new people or plays fetch with you. She also has an adorable helicopter tail when she is happy. Daisy is a happy, loving girl always ready to play fetch, chew on her toys, and get love from her favorite people. She may be too exuberant for small children so would do best in a home with older children.
Daisy can be a bit pushy; she likes to be in charge and takes a little bit to warm up to other dogs. She enjoys being with both her male and female foster siblings. They will let her be in charge in some cases, and in others they let her know they have it covered. Daisy has appointed herself as protector of the household and lets your know if anyone is even thinking of coming onto the property so, she is best suited for a house over an apartment or condo. Daisy tends to pull on walks but is controlling herself nicely with the help of a Gentle Leader.
Daisy Mae is a Labrador/Hound mix born ~January 2010 weighing 60 pounds. She is housebroken and crate trained. She has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism which is well controlled with two pills each day.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
