Pouch is a gorgeous 7 year old beagle. He's about 40# He was saved from an abusive home by his folks, but then some time after saving him his new folks fell on some tough times and they were forced to give him up.
Pouch is a sweet guy- just scared at first... very understandable. He is leash trained, housetrained, and has had basic training! He is very smart and obedient. The only thing is.... not great with cats! LOL But, we are firm believers that it is all in the introduction!
Com'mon.... give him a chance! *gives you a cheesy smile.... as seen in Photo #3* Take a look at his vid on the right!
ADOPTED 11/27/16 after almost 2 years at B&B! Moving to LA!
Are you my furrever family?
For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section where very thorough instructions await. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, micorchipped, and fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.
The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs! No more weekend mobiles—only special events. Maybe if there are enuff appointments, we could see you in El Monte or Orange County or nearby. Email your application and ask for more details!
Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!
