Max's Story...
Max is a 2 year old male American Staffordshire mix. sweet, loves people, kisses and belly rubs. and weight about 55 pounds.

He is awesome when left alone in the house. He is not crated. He has not barked yet and shows no reaction to door bell or outside noises. He is a quick learner and enjoys company of his people.
Max loves going out for walks and calms instantly once inside.

Max does not go on the furniture although foster has tried :-)

He does not beg for food at the table. If you are sitting at the table eating, Max sometimes will approach but will not beg for it it and is usually only there to get a hug or kiss then will go and lay on his bed.

He originally lived in a home with a family and a child 8 years old. Max knows his name and will come when called.

Good with dogs

Foster can't say enough great things about him. He is a gentle sweet loving soul.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Long Beach American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
