Halo's Story...
Halo is a wonderfully affectionate young dog that is looking for a family to love. He was found as a stray. We have no idea how anyone could abandon such a sweet, soft and gentle young boy but are determined to find him a wonderful home where he can be happy and loved forever. Halo really enjoys attention. He loves to be with people and is very eager to please and be a welcomed part of things. He walks great on leash and has fun exploring. He is going to be a wonderful companion. Halo has fabulous house manners. He is crate-trained and housebroken. He is a quiet fellow so he would do fine in an apartment or townhome. We have not seen Halo with children, but he has a very gentle soul and we think he would do just fine with them. He is good with cats and does fine with most dogs. Halo is a year old and weighs 23 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. If you would like to meet Halo, please complete our adoption application at www.cedarfarmrescue.com. After you have submitted the form please call Tony at 336.251.8877 to make an appointment to visit. Meetings are held at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville by appointment only. 46619

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Halo, a Mocksville Spitz (Unknown Type, Small)/American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spitz (Unknown Type, Small)/American Eskimo Dog for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Spitz (Unknown Type, Small)/American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spitz (Unknown Type, Small)/American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with Spitz (Unknown Type, Small)/American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
