Wendy's Story...
Everything about Wendy just shows why senior dogs are the best dogs! At 10yrs old, Wendy the Corgi mix with the stubby legs has seen it all. Been there, done that. She doesn't need constant supervision like a rowdy puppy, and doesn't ask for much in general. Wendy simply asks for a comfy bed to sleep on and a human to love her and take her for walks or give her a yard to roam around and sun herself in. She is a collected old lady who doesn't ever seem to make a peep, and when given some time behind the desk she simply chills out and relaxes. Although Wendy doesn't ask for constant attention, she loves her butt scratches and ear scritches a considerable amount. She also will sometimes sneak up on you and push her nose in to your hand asking for a little love. We don't think Wendy would mind other dogs or cats as long as they aren't pushy and in her face. She would likely prefer a calm atmosphere where she could just settle down and enjoy the rest of her years. If you don't mind a slightly grizzled face and a set of milky brown eyes, please meet our adorable little Wendy girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Broadway Corgi/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Border Collie for sale in Broadway, or seeking a Corgi/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Broadway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broadway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broadway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Border Collie breeders who help with Corgi/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broadway paves the way for another one to be saved.
