Jammie's Story...
Jammie: Four year old lovely traditional striped tabby. She is a big girl that weighs about 12 lbs. She is current on shots and has been spayed. She is negative to feline leukemia and kitty aids. She uses the litter box correctly. She loves to be petted and can live with a small dog. She is fostered in a home with a child who is 8 years old. She would be best in a home that would allow for quiet moments and loads of love. She has been around other cats, but would prefer to be the only cat in the home. She had been abused by a human in the past, but she is ready to trust again and would love a home where she would be accepted and respected. Please call Katherine at 910-261-8793.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jammie, a Parkton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Parkton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Parkton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkton paves the way for another one to be saved.
