Lily's history: Lily's previous owner was unable to keep her and we were asked to help!

Notes from Lily's foster family: Lily is a bit shy when she meets new people or dogs, but once she warms up, she is a love. She has not had any accidents in the house or chewed on anything inappropriately. We are working on crate training, as she does not want much to do with it right now. She really likes to play with her toys and be with her person. Lily has lived with 4 kids of all ages and seemed to do fine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily-adoption pending, a Covington Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua for sale in Covington, or seeking a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Covington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua breeders who help with Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covington paves the way for another one to be saved.
