Munch's Story...
Please meet Munch and his mom, Iggy. Sweet Iggy, was found starving, wrapped in wire, and terrified on Second street in downtown Memphis. Her foster family took her in and thought she was gaining weight quickly and found out she was pregnant. Iggy gave birth to nine healthy miracle puppies before Christmas. While they were a wonderful Christmas gift to their foster family. Her foster family reached out to Wilson Animal Rescue for help with vetting and finding homes for Munch and his siblings. Munch is six weeks old and is Terrier and Lab mix and is cat, dog and kid friendly.

Munch's adoption fee is $450 and will include his vaccinations, microchip, health certificate and transportation from Memphis to you. Please email wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com for an adoption application for Munch.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Munch, a Rochester Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
