My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES ACE INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Ace came to IDGSR as an owner surrender that threatened to have him destroyed because of skin issues. Ace also had ear infections that had not been treated properly or correctly. Ace had some allergies as well. IDGSR changed his diet and treated his skin and ear issues and provided him with multiple supplements that have him feeling better and looking great.

Ace is approx. 6yrs. old but acts more like a 2 yr. old, he is highly energetic and exuberant. Ace is a very tall and Xlarge male GS. He can be a bit rambunctious and slightly obnoxious however he is excellent in the home, housebroken, no need to be crated as he is a gentleman inside.

Ace prefers women, he is somewhat protective once he bonds to you, inside the home he will alert and bark. He is not aggressive but he takes much longer to bond to men. For you ladies who feel they want that 'comfort' of knowing you have this really big boy who is simply intimidating by his size and bark Ace is the guy for you.

No one would dare break in to your home with Ace there. While he is friendly to most people he does need time to get to know them and as mentioned previously takes longer with men. (The Men-thing is more common that most folks realize). He has met many ladies from the rescue and there is zero issues. Men in hats and heavy coats concern him, he will walk away from them though.

Ace has been cat tested and is cat friendly or cat tolerant, no aggression towards the cat. Ace is best suited to a home with no children.

If you are interested in Ace, this sweetheart Big Lug is a good boy. Please apply on our website.
