Sarabi's Story...
SARABI Female Tortoiseshell Cat DOB 2010 Contact:

This cutie is Sarabi, she was surrendered to our veterinarian's clinic with a bladder infection which was treated. She has had no reoccurrence. Although we are not a cat rescue we offered to help find a home for Sarabi who is now living at the vets. She is approx. 4 years old, weighs approx. 13lbs. has been spayed and up to date on vaccinations (Felv/FIV negative). She has a great personality, is talkative, affectionate and litter box trained. She gets along fine with cats at the clinic but is afraid of dogs. They think she would be best in a home as the only pet. If you would like more info or would like to meet Sarabi please contact Cathy or Shannon at Glade Valley Veterinary Clinic, Kingwood 281 358 9070 or email Cathy at

*****If you would like more information about the dog featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the animal and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every animal to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day.
Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our pets***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarabi, a Kingwood Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
