Meet Charlie! Charlie arrived to our local animal control as a stray and it was discovered that she had an eye issue...Entropion, which is an eyelid disorder that is very uncomfortable and painful. Entropion describes a condition where the eyelid "rolls in" on itself. It can affect one or both eyes, and the lower and/or upper eyelids. In Charlie's case her lower eyelids were effected so we made sure she had the surgery that she needed to make her feel comfortable and most of all so that she didn't have to blink non stop and keep her eyes shut most of the time due to the discomfort.
Charlie is now ready for her new forever home and would love a home with a fenced yard as she loves to run around the yard and she is fast!! Charlie likes to play with toys and she is excellent at fetch and likes chewing on bully sticks. She is good with children over 5 years old and would be best with submissive male dogs as she seems to not have been socialized with other dogs and is still learning to play with dogs. Charlie seems to have a prey drive, at least with squirrels, so unsure how she would do with cats at this time. Charlie is approximately 3 years old, completely house trained, loves to cuddle, gives many kisses, quiet, knows basic commands, has manners, spayed, up to date on vaccines, current on flea and heartworm preventative, and is micro chipped.
