Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jeffrey is a happy guy, cute and personable. He enjoys meeting and greeting at adoption events. To meet him is to love him and want to give him a hug. Jeffrey loves people and is great with men, women and children. He is affectionate without being pushy and loves to snuggle - a 50 lb lap dog. He has a shiny black coat set off by a white chest and 4 white paws.
Jeffrey came from a rural shelter and apparently was not used to living inside. He had to be patiently trained to go up and down stairs in his foster home but got the hang of it quickly. He is a smart boy who listens to you and wants to please. He may be less than a year old, as he still has some puppy ways. He does a little chewing, but is not destructive in the house. Jeffrey is crate trained in his foster home and seems to be house trained as well, although he will probably need reminders in a new home. He doesn't bark much.
Jeffrey gets along well with other dogs, although he doesn't like to share his food. He loves to play, and has a wonderful time tearing around the backyard with his foster mates.Note: Any inquiries about this companion animal will only be answered after completion of an on-line application.
