Holly Berry's Story...
CT - This is a courtesy post.
WELL THEY DON'T GET MUCH SWEETER THAN THIS FOLKS!! This is Holly Berry. She is 6-7 months old and was abandon by her family because they were too lazy to give her any kind of training. They asked a friend to take her and teach her basic commands and a few days later they called the friend and said they didn’t want her anymore and that they just planned on putting her down if the friend didn’t keep her! Disgusting!

In just a few short weeks, Miss Holly has shown great improvement! Although very energetic, she is a quick learner and aims to please. She is good around other dogs, cats and even the barn chickens She is a bit on the dominant side but learns quickly when put in her place by the other dogs. She is very petite, weighing in at about 40-45 lbs. She would do best with an active family. She is spayed and up to date on shots. This goofball is sure to make a family very happy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly Berry, a Hamden American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Hamden, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Hamden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamden paves the way for another one to be saved.
