Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTER LOCATION: Meridian, ID
Hi, I'm Molly and I like warm hugs! If you sit on the floor with me, I will put my head on your shoulder and lean in for some snuggles. Snuggling is my favorite! My coat is so soft and velvety, you won't be able to resist! If you let me, I like to be a lap dog too!
I am a 1 year old Lab mix. I am a very social girl who loves meeting new people, dogs and even cats! When I get excited, I tend to nibble a bit in all the excitement...but my foster people are working on correcting this behavior. I'd like to learn how to run and play with other dogs...I don't do it very often but it seems like fun!
Treats? Did you say treats?? I will do anything for a treat, you just need to teach me what to do-I've been told I'm a quick learner. Sitting for a treat is easy and I will do it even before I'm asked, but some extra training would make me a happy girl! Walks are great and I'm so good on leash. I don't pull and I will watch you to make sure I'm doing it right. My foster parents take me on rides all the time and am getting really comfortable with it...sometimes I even put my head out the window for a nice breeze.
Toys are a new thing for me and I am learning that a tennis ball is so fun to pounce on! I like to roll it around the room and chase it down. My human takes my ball from me and throws it...I'm not sure why she does that...so I go get it and return to playing with it by myself...I have a feeling she wants it back to throw it again but who knows humans are silly! Ropes are pretty cool too! The young human and I play tug-o-war - I once played tug-o-war with the other dog I live with and it was so fun (and I won!) I really like to chew, so I hope my forever home has lots of toys, bones, ropes, Kongs & water bottles to keep my busy!
I used to get all shaky and drooly sometimes, I heard a guy say I had something called seizures; don’t know what that means but they felt weird. I do know that the guy (someone called him vet) put me on a daily pill I haven’t had any more seizures. My foster mom says my new forever home will need to make sure I get my meds every day which is fine by me because I love them wrapped in cheese!
I am house-trained & kennel-trained and will sleep in my kennel all night...unless you want to cuddle with me in bed, because I could do that too! My doctor also made sure that my shots are up-to-date and I have a micro-chip just in case I get lost. As much as I love, love, love people I’m pretty sure I should go to a home that has kids that are at least 6 or 7 as when I get excited and wiggle butt happy (that’s what my foster mom calls it) I can easily knock a little one over.
Are you my perfect person? I promise I’ll be a really good girl, I’m tons of fun and oh did I mention I have the cutest face in the whole wide world!
Make sure you check me out walking in the dog park with my foster mom: http://youtu.be/ehGnGmHRmF8
