Madison's Story...
Hi everyone! My name is Madison! My foster mom calls me Chance Madison because I found her on Madison Ave and I got a 2nd chance finding a new family! Cool huh? The doc says I am around 4-5 years old, but people say I look much younger.

I love affection and sitting next to my loved one. I also love going for walks and am well behaved on a leash. I sprint a bit too but I much rather be by my owner’s side.

I have 6 foster sisters and 1 foster brother, they range from 5 pounds to 55 pounds. I get along with them most of the time. Because I tend to guard the things that I consider mine, my foster mom says I would do best as an only dog.

My foster mom says that I am a gem, a real great find and a real gentle soul. I must say that I agree! She also says I am very calm and a great beginner dog for people who don’t have too much experience dealing with fur. I am still learning commands and am eager to train with treats.

I also am a great listener. I love my foster family but dream of having a forever home! If you think it may be you and want to learn more about me, my foster mom or Hearts of Gold will let you know anything you need to find out. www.heartsofgoldpitrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madison, a Memphis Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
