Fennel's Story...
Hello, I'm Fennel, and I'm ready to find a home of my own. I'm only about 3-4 years old and 11 pounds but I've been a mommy several times already. My two little seeds, Flax and Chia, will thankfully be my last babies so that I can now be someone's baby. I'm a very sweet girl and love everyone I meet. I get along well with the other dogs and cats in my foster home. I even go outside to go to the bathroom (I'll have to get used to that snow stuff though). I want to be in my person's lap but that doesn't mean I'm lazy. I love to play, play, play! Can I come play at your house?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fennel, a Foster Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Foster, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
