My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

GGARR President Grace was contacted by a veterinary clinic in Brooksville and alerted about a female surrendered to them by a person who no longer wanted the dog. The clinic was not able to keep her and asked Grace to take her into the rescue and find her a new home. Grace said Yes and Shatzi was taken into the rescue the day before New Years' eve.

Schatzi, German for Sweetheart or Darling, lives up to her name well!!! She is very shy when you first meet her but warms up quickly.

She is approximately 2-3 years old and gets along well with other dogs, male and female, larger and smaller. She loves to run around the yard with the other dogs and likes to dig a little if she gets bored.

She take treats gently and knows the sit command. She seeks out your attention and loves to be by your side. She doesn't show signs of food or toy aggression or guarding towards humans or other dogs.

She is scheduled for vetting and will be available soon!

Come meet Schatzi...she's sure to become YOUR sweetheart!
