Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*URGENT* If you have been considering opening your heart and home to a senior Adopt-A-Bull, today is the day to meet Coco. Coco was surrendered to the shelter by her family when her owner became seriously ill and could no longer care for her. These situations are sad for everyone - humans and dogs alike. Coco is in her fourth month with us. Although she was doing pretty well initially, shelter life is taking its toll on her. She needs out of the shelter this week. Coco is not a good fit for a home with cats. She can potentially live with another dog if it's the right match and with proper introductions and management. Humans are the center of Coco's universe - she is a sweet old gal and a total love bug!
Coco brightens every room she enters with her sunny disposition and big doggie smile. Although she qualifies as a senior, she sure doesn't act like one. She is a wiggly, happy girl! Coco loves people and is eager to make new friends and soak up some lap time and affection. Her bones may creak a little but she is still quite spry and loves to get out for a nice brisk walk. She is great on leash and loves to sniff and explore. Coco attends weekly BAD RAP training classes with a volunteer handler and can continue classes for FREE ($100 value) with her BACS adopters after she goes home. At her age, Coco should be enjoying the warmth of the home and family she was raised with. Sadly, that was not in the cards and Coco finds herself at the shelter waiting for a new home. It is a special person who opens their heart to a senior but Coco is a special dog. We are eager to see her find the new home she deserves and we know that home will be a bit sweeter with a little Coco in it.
