Notes: Billie Jane was rescued in Florida by our Director of Operations, while visiting family. Lulu, as she was known then, pulled at our heartstrings and was very well behaved, walked well on a leash and was in danger of being shot by area residents where she was rescued. We couldn't bear the thought of Billie Jane being left in Florida when we were in such a wonderful position to find her a new life!
Billie Jane is adjusting well to life in Virginia. One of her favorite things to do is to catch falling raindrops and snowflakes.
Billie Jane is a born athlete, a high energy girl with a lot of love to give to the right family. She would make a great pet for an active family that likes to go to the park, spend time in nature, or spend a lot of time playing with her in the backyard. She loves rolling her basketball around in the backyard and catching the water coming out of the sprinkler. She has so much potential to learn new tricks and be an incredible family member for an active family!

Home visits required and dog adoptions often do require structural fencing. (We make decisions regarding the fencing requirement on a dog-by-dog basis, according to the dog's exercise needs and energy level.) Stafford SPCA does not condone the exclusive use of invisible fencing. We reserve the right to deny placement of puppies and kittens into homes with children under 5 years old.
