Hey, the name is Toulouse. My 7 littermates and I were all named after cities in France – I guess you could call us the “French Connection”. There are three girls, Paris, Brittany (already adopted) and Lorraine, and four boys, Caen, Picardie, Bordeaux, Calais and me, Toulouse. Mom is a 50-lb. Lab mix and we never met Dad; Mom just won’t talk about him. I need a home that would commit to me for the next 10 to 15 years. Also, a home where someone is around during the day is essential – lots of exercise, training, and frequent potty breaks are a necessity.

Before I sign off, I’d like to bring up a subject that you might find a little distasteful – pardon the pun! Many puppies have a dirty little secret – it’s called “coprophagia ". There are so many things that puppy’s do that will bring a smile to your face but this would not one of them! Yup, most of us at one time or another are poop eaters. To puppies they are just nifty little treats that are left on the ground for our enjoyment – frozen ones are the best! Sometimes there is just no explanation for it. The good news is most pups outgrow the habit. It would be important to teach me “come” and “leave it”. One of the Animatch puppies was recently returned because of this and we just want to make sure that everyone knows that this is not a reason to throw in the towel.

Well, I’m off to play with my brothers and sisters so if you think that I am the dog for you, just fill in the Adoption Form and ask for Toulouse!
