Lucky's Story...
Please help me find my forever home!

My name is Lucky. I’m a 50 pound, 10-month old Vizsla/Shepherd mix. I was lost and taken in by a local family but they already have two large dogs and can’t keep me – I am now caught up on my shots, heartworm negative & neutered.

I love taking long walks, cuddling with you and playing with my toys. I sleep in my own bed at night but love to curl up in a ball and take naps on the couch and watch over you while you sleep. I’m a very loyal and playful pup; I love playing in the yard with a ball or stick and love chewing the sticks up into little pieces for you.

I would do best in a single-dog house but love to play with other dogs too. I am not food aggressive and know all my commands like sit, stay, shake hands & down.

Lucky is current on all his vaccinations, neutered and heartworm negative. If you would like to meet Lucky to see if he's as good as we say he is, please call Jim at 954 968 9973.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Atlanta Vizsla/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Vizsla/Labrador Retriever for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Vizsla/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Vizsla/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Vizsla/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
