My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous and unusual looking boy has been described as a "perfect" dog. He is tuned into people and loves to cuddle. He looks to his person for direction and aims to please. Before landing at the shelter, Alex was a "neighborhood dog" who used to walk the local kids to and from the bus stop. Despite his desire to work and please, Alex is a mellow kind of guy as well. He loves to hang around with other dogs and is just an all around good citiizen. Alex is a 2 year old heeler mix who found himself at a county animal control down south with a collar embedded in his neck and a case of heartworms. His collar was removed and his heartworms were treated with the support of caring rescue organizations. He is perfectly healthy and just like new. He was neutered and brought up to date on his shots and is now ready for a forever home. He is the perfect family dog! If you would like Alex to be a part of your family, please copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Full vetting and transport up north included in his $425 adoption fee. We cannot be certain what his true mix is.
Please give Alex the home he deserves!
