Lucy is a 4 yr old Maltese mix, who owners are having to move into assisted living and cannot keep her. Lucy and Hope came from the same household. Owners stated they didn’t feel these girls were so bonded, that they should remain together. Lucy weighs just 15 lbs and wants nothing more than to be held on your lap and give kisses. When not cuddling, she is filled with energy and loves toys! Lucy’s coat is a bit too matted for our home grooming salon, so she will need to head to the beauty parlor, for a once over. Lucy is spayed, current on all vaccines and preventatives. She is heartworm negative. She does well around other dogs and cats. We have not kid tested her, but she can get a little nippy, if she doesn’t like your agenda (nail trims, etc). For that reason we cannot consider a home with children under the age of 10. Lucy is currently being fostered in a private home, nearby. Adoption Fee $250. HOME VISIT REQUIRED.
BEGINNING 2015 WE WILL MICROCHIP ALL PETS PLACED THROUGH OUR RESCUE. COST OF CHIPPING INCLUDED IN ADOPTION FEE.

Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or permanent basis.
NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY.
