Rachel's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rachel's Story...
Rachel is a beautiful German Shepherd/Aussie mix with a thick, soft, fluffy coat. She is a tall, medium-size dog, weighing just 43 lbs. Rachel is very smart and loves to be petted and snuggled. She is high energy so she would love to be your walking or jogging partner. Rachel walks beautifully on a leash. She stays right beside her owner and does not pull. She needs to be the only dog in her new home. Rachel's adoption fee is $100 which includes spay surgery, heartworm testing, all shots, dewormings, flea/heartworm prevention and a microchip. She is too big to be good with small children. Older children would be fine. She is two years old. If you are interested in adopting Rachel, please email healingheartsrescue@hotmail.com. You can also call or text (615) 290-2454.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rachel, a Madison German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Madison, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
