Thor's Story...
Thor is a big, lovable Rottweiler and Hound mix who weighs 60 pounds and will probably gain a little more weight. He has been neutered, his shots are up to date, and he has tested heart worm negative. If you like big dogs, Thor would be a good pet for a house with children. He is about one and a half years old. (2/5/15) He is currently located in Madison, MS, but transport to New England or Chicago can be arranged through Animal Rescue Front. If you're interested in taking him into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thor, a Groton Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Groton, or seeking a Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
