Walley's Story...
Walley is a male Bullmastiff, he was born in January of 2009, and he weighs about 107 pounds. He is a big, goofy boy with loads of personality. He is a gentle giant and incredibly affectionate. Walley walks well on a leash and seems to be housetrained. He should have a fenced-in yard or lots of room to roam in his new home. He may be okay with other dogs, he should do well with cats as long as they are introduced properly. His new owner should have dog experience, breed experience would be best. He would do best with older children because of his size. Walley is a great boy and will be a wonderful companion.

*Walley's adoption fee is $100. All HSSCM dogs have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and they are on monthly heartworm/flea prevention.*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Walley, a Battle Creek Bullmastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bullmastiff for sale in Battle Creek, or seeking a Bullmastiff dog from a breeder in Battle Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battle Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bullmastiff breeders who help with Bullmastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battle Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
