Punky's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, declawed, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Punky's Story...
Punky is a beautiful tortoiseshell girl with emerald green eyes who absolutely loves tummy rubs. She came to us by way of an owner who could no longer care for her, and was already spayed and declawed. Punky had a urinary tract infection when she arrived that has since been treated, but she is on special food to assure her continued health. Punky is currently staying in a foster home where her diet can be monitored, where her foster mother states that she will make anyone a loving companion or family pet. Punky is now immunized and microchipped, and arrangements may be made to meet her by calling shelter manager Tracy at 944-4868.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Punky, a Geneseo Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Geneseo, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Geneseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Geneseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Geneseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Geneseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
