My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Nova. I am a Terrier mix with scruffy gold / cream fur and perky ears. I am so glad my rescuer contacted the Safe House for me because I was sick and they treated me. I had Ehrlichia and Anaplasmosis (both tick fevers) and I could have died if I was not treated. Every month my new pet parent must keep me on heartgard and K9 Advantix II so I will not get fleas or ticks again. What is so scary is I could have given it to a human. I love toys and raw hide chews. I am fully vetted now I can go home when some one special adopts me. DOB given 12/1/13
